Jennifer has been licensed to practice law since 1999. She is a graduate of Villanova University with a B.A. in English and a cum laude graduate of Syracuse University College of Law. Empathy for Struggling Families
While a student at S.U. she had the privilege of being selected to serve as the Editor in Chief of the American Bar Association’s publication, The Labor Lawyer. This led to her career in Syracuse, New York working in the field of labor & employment law, focusing her practice on workplace discrimination.
During this time, she represented both municipalities and individuals before the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, the State Division of Human Rights as well as the NYS Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board. This experience left her with a keen understanding and empathy for both families and individuals struggling with life-altering circumstances.
Committed to Matrimonial Law
After moving to Rochester, New York in 2006, Mrs. Speller took a break from the practice of law to raise her family. She is now committed to the representation of individuals in all areas of matrimonial law, including divorce, child support, and child custody issues. Ms. Speller is also trained in the practice of Collaborative Law.
